Niall Horan?s ex-girlfriend Amy Green has hit out at reports the One Direction star dumped her, telling her Twitter followers to ?get your facts right?.
The 19-year-old 1D heartthrob had been dating 20-year-old drama student Amy Green since last October.
But with an eight-month world tour with his One Direction boys coming up, Niall ended things with her, blaming his ?hectic schedule.
However, after the reports emerged yesterday, something didn?t sit quite right with Amy and she took to her Twitter account to rubbish the claims.
Tweeting her 110,000 followers, she wrote: ?Where do some people get their facts from?!! .. very funny.?
She then retweeted a message her sister?Georgia had posted, reading: ?Laughing at what people will say to make an article #hysterical #getyourfactsright .?
Despite Niall claiming he was single, they apparently had been dating on the sly for four months.
Amy is even believed to have ended a four-year relationship she was in to give things a go with Niall.
?Understandably she was disappointed because she had been in a relationship before she started seeing Niall and chose him over her boyfriend,? an insider said. ?But there are no real hard feelings and they?re still close.?
It seems Niall is doing okay since the split after he tweeted his fans yesterday telling them he was busy at work in the studio and was seeking comfort in chocolate milk.
?In the studio with Justin from @therealvaccines writing and also I love chocolate milk !,? he wrote.
Niall and the rest of the 1D boys will be taking to the stage next month for Comic Relief to perform the official Red Nose Day single, their cover of Blondie?s One Way Or Another.
And it seems the track, which was released last week, is already doing well.
Niall tweeted earlier today: ?The reaction to the new single is amazing! Thank you all so much for all your help! Its all goin to an amazing cause.?
